As far as I know the position Number is related to a condom. The technical name of the condom in USSR was "Rubber product number 2". Also there is a song by Russian artist Кай Метов (Kai Metov) with a sexual context "Position 2". The name of the song is in English and even though the song is in Russian, the phrase "Position number two" is sang in English

The Accord Rube Goldberg ad is actuelly very carefully thought out - if you look closely, every single piece of the sequence is a specific, deliberately chosen car feature that they're promoting, that "just works": rain sensors, electric windows, sound system etc.

The Finnish Samara ad is peak eighties but I think it would’ve worked back then. The tone is hyper stylized, whimsical and fun, but she’s also showing the room in the trunk, the practical-ness of moving luggage and friends and maybe doing her makeup in the big mirror. Not sure how big a market this was, but dozens of 1980s Finnish women probably loved this ad...
