Your wrong about the NOS scene. Although NOS is non flammable, it will accelerate the burning of combustible on fire. Which is what happens on the scene. First the car is shot at gas tank, car is on fire, then fire is accelerated by NOS. You should get your facts right.

You calculate the necessary acceleration to put a car on the rear achsle, the formula for this doesn't look too bad. But jumping from "we neeg 2.6g" to "with a bit more math and some more equations resulting xy lb-ft of torque" is weak. You are not even saing which measures you use in your equations. What is the transmission like, what is the wheel diameter like in you assumptions? Also friction during a burnout is way lower but not zero.

Most carbs like that holly regulate fuel pressure off of boost pressure from a line off of the hat on top of the carb. So It increases the fuel pressure in the carb proptional to boost so the trick should work.

The point on the turbo Charger and Cars is Maybe right, But there is a way where you put the Boost on the fuel pressure, then you Need a Valve which hold the fuel pressure 0.3bar over the Boost pressure. Then you have a safer way to have enough fuel for things like that. Just saying

The part where the wastegate is clamped/vacuum is removed would actually work as just because there is a higher air to fuel ratio the extra air would still create a power boost but will be running less lean and now canisters can definitely explode u say they can’t because they are not flammable yet u then go on to say how there is an open flame to ignite it

Everybody loves to misinterpret the exploding nos scene without thinking logically about HOW it could cause a fiery explosion. The nos tank is sitting generally overtop the gas tank. When it explodes, the gas tank gets ruptured. This rupturing will cause sparks, not to mention the car is already on fire. The resulting explosion of the gasoline filled fuel tank is where the actual fiery explosion comes from. That's what we see happening in the movie. Myth is 100% plausible.

Without watching the video itself I can tell you the depiction of NO2 in FF is completely false lol. Nitrogen can blow your engine yes, but for different reasons and when it does blow its just a piston or rod through a block at worst, not a huge fiery ball lol. Its not explosive and the complete opposite of flamable, its literally a liquid that freezes once it reacts with open air, you could light a tank on fire or shoot it and all it would do is release the pressurised gas, no fiery explosion.

Secondly, although NO2 is not a flammable gas, it is a compressed gas when bottled and utilised for use in cars, so although the gas itself will not add to the flames, once the container is ruptured, it would explode and send debris flying.

Your wrong about blow through carbs jetting. The fuel is increased by a boost referenced regulator.....although pulling the wastegate line would produce more boost than the fuel pump could handle.

Jk for the first one couldn't it happen with slight lag. As in after it starts up wait transfer plus power lag would push it up then give it the boost to burnout for atleast a split second (sorry if that makes no sense)

missed two things on turbo wastegate lies. Other reason to regulate boost so you don't throw too much pressure and blow the head gasket. Second reason, fuel supply pressure must exceed turbo pressure, excess turbo would not only need more fuel but without increased fuel pressure will resist fuel entering and cause less flow.

In theory you can do a light burnout -- and then do a whellie --- especially on the normal asphalt ..... It would require almost perfect conditions --- as the tires are cold they have limited traction, and while hot they have significantly more traction.... Since the tire getting hot gains traction -- it is somewhat possible to do that not starting with high rpms (at first light burnout while next going for a wheelie) but the smoke will end quickly as the car would go --- exactly like in the movie. In the movie it was fake probably as they take a lot of shots of the same scene -- still it is possible :)

Question about the NOS part. If the car is already on fire like shown in the clip couldn’t it heat up the bottle of nos causing it to become more pressurized due to the temperature change? And once the Nos bottle exploded wouldn’t it feed the flames with more oxygen? It may not cause green flames but I thought that’s why nos was illegal on the street? Because it could cause injury to first responders and firefighters in the case of an accident

Donut Media, if that wastegate trick isnt possible then could you explain how Nissan R90ck driven by Blundell was able to reach completely new top speeds on the mulsanne straight back in the day despite having broken turbo? they say its wastegate was stuck closed. The engine probably broke afterwards but regardless it was given a big boost to power. Its obviously a racecar but would be cool to hear how did that work and why did that work and not this one? Worth a video? :D
